Employers that hire people with a record, Salt Lake City after 7 years as a graphic designer

A few employers in Salt Lake City say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 7 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
