Employers that hire people with a record, Richmond - what worked for you?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The HR contact was kind and direct. Has anyone worked at these places?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
