Employers that hire people with a record, Milwaukee (update)

A few employers in Milwaukee say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
