Employers that hire people with a record, Memphis - any advice?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 4 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
