Employers that hire people with a record, Louisville - any advice?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. Any experience at all would help. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 4 months. Any other leads?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
