Employers that hire people with a record, Honolulu - what worked for you?

A few employers in Honolulu say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. It has been weighing on me all week. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 3 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
