Employers that hire people with a record, Detroit after 11 years as a project coordinator

A few employers in Detroit say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. It has been weighing on me all week. The HR contact was kind and direct. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Check your record before you apply so nothing surprises you. A free legal clinic helped me look.

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
