Employers that hire people with a record, Detroit - 6 months and counting

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 15 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?
