Employers that hire people with a record, Chicago - what worked for you?

A few employers in Chicago say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Thanks for sharing the list. I will try two of them this week.

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
