Employers that hire people with a record, Buffalo after 7 years as a teaching assistant

A few employers in Buffalo say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The HR contact was kind and direct. Has anyone worked at these places?
