Employers that hire people with a record, Boston - first time posting

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Any other leads?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
