Distribution centre hiring near Seattle - any advice?

A logistics company in Seattle is adding people before the busy season. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
