Distribution centre hiring near San Diego - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of San Diego, with day and night shifts. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
