Distribution centre hiring near Sacramento - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Sacramento is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
