Distribution centre hiring near Sacramento after 14 years as a production planner

A distribution centre near Sacramento is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I worked as a production planner before this. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
