Distribution centre hiring near Portland - first time posting

A distribution centre near Portland is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. Any experience at all would help. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
