Distribution centre hiring near Phoenix - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Phoenix, with day and night shifts. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
