Distribution centre hiring near Nashville - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Nashville is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I worked as a copywriter before this. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
