Distribution centre hiring near Nashville, line cook here

A distribution centre near Nashville is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.
