Distribution centre hiring near Minneapolis (update)

A logistics company in Minneapolis is adding people before the busy season. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
