Distribution centre hiring near Milwaukee - any advice?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Milwaukee, with day and night shifts. This is my first time dealing with any of this. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
