Distribution centre hiring near Madison - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Madison, with day and night shifts. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Has anyone worked there?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
