Distribution centre hiring near Louisville, event coordinator here

A distribution centre near Louisville is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I worked as an event coordinator before this. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
