Distribution centre hiring near Louisville - 6 months and counting

A distribution centre near Louisville is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I am in Louisville, in case local advice matters. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
