Distribution centre hiring near Kansas City - any advice?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Kansas City, with day and night shifts. I have been trying to stay organised about it. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
