Distribution centre hiring near Kansas City

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Kansas City, with day and night shifts. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
