Distribution centre hiring near Honolulu, call-centre agent here

A distribution centre near Honolulu is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. Any experience at all would help. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
