Distribution centre hiring near Hartford - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Hartford, with day and night shifts. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
