Distribution centre hiring near Hartford - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Hartford is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. It has been weighing on me all week. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
