Distribution centre hiring near Hartford - any advice?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Hartford, with day and night shifts. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

If you have forklift experience, say so. It moved me to the top of the pile.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
