Distribution centre hiring near Fresno after 3 years as a project coordinator

A distribution centre near Fresno is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I am in Fresno, in case local advice matters. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
