Distribution centre hiring near Dallas - 6 months and counting

A logistics company in Dallas is adding people before the busy season. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. Do they hire temps first?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
