Distribution centre hiring near Chicago - any advice?

Gabriel Nakamura · 2026-09-02T01:07:11.332Z

A distribution centre near Chicago is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. Any experience at all would help. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
