Distribution centre hiring near Chicago after 18 years as a mechanic

A distribution centre near Chicago is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Has anyone worked there?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
