Distribution centre hiring near Chicago - 7 months and counting

A logistics company in Chicago is adding people before the busy season. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
