Distribution centre hiring near Buffalo - any advice?

A logistics company in Buffalo is adding people before the busy season. Any experience at all would help. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
