Distribution centre hiring near Boston - what worked for you?

I saw a flyer for warehouse hiring on the east side of Boston, with day and night shifts. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. What are the shifts like?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
