A distribution centre near Boston is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They said to bring ID and a work history, and some people were hired on the spot. What are the shifts like?

Ask whether the job is direct hire or through an agency. The pay and benefits were very different for me.
