Distribution centre hiring near Birmingham - 6 months and counting

A distribution centre near Birmingham is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. The posting lists shifts, a weekly pay schedule and overtime. Do they hire temps first?

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.

Night shifts often pay a premium, but check the transport options first. The buses thin out late.
