Distribution centre hiring near Austin - what worked for you?

A distribution centre near Austin is holding hiring sessions this week for packers, pickers and forklift operators. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I went for a tour and the place was clean and organised. Do they hire temps first?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I applied for a similar job last year and the drug screen and background check took about a week. Bring two forms of ID.
