Delivery and driving jobs in Richmond - what worked for you?

I saw postings for delivery drivers and dispatchers near Richmond. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. Are the local runs really home every night?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.
