Delivery and driving jobs in Providence - what worked for you?

A regional carrier near Providence is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. They list a sign-on bonus and weekly pay. Are the local runs really home every night?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
