Delivery and driving jobs in Portland - what worked for you?

A regional carrier near Portland is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I have been trying to stay organised about it. A clean driving record is required. Are the local runs really home every night?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.
