Delivery and driving jobs in Phoenix - what worked for you?

Several delivery companies in Phoenix are hiring drivers with clean records. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They list a sign-on bonus and weekly pay. How is the pay in practice?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.
