Delivery and driving jobs in Madison - any advice?

A regional carrier near Madison is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They list a sign-on bonus and weekly pay. Are the local runs really home every night?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.

Check safety ratings for the company. A quick search told me a lot.
