Delivery and driving jobs in Detroit - what worked for you?

Several delivery companies in Detroit are hiring drivers with clean records. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A clean driving record is required. How is the pay in practice?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.
