Delivery and driving jobs in Charlotte - what worked for you?

I saw postings for delivery drivers and dispatchers near Charlotte. I worked as a production planner before this. A clean driving record is required. How is the pay in practice?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.
