Delivery and driving jobs in Birmingham - what worked for you?

I saw postings for delivery drivers and dispatchers near Birmingham. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. Are the local runs really home every night?

Local runs were steady for me, but early starts are common. Plan for a 4 a.m. alarm.
