Delivery and driving jobs in Birmingham - any advice?

A regional carrier near Birmingham is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. Some offer paid training for a commercial licence. How is the pay in practice?

Ask how many stops and hours a typical day has. The pay per hour dropped when my route was longer than advertised.

Check safety ratings for the company. A quick search told me a lot.
