Delivery and driving jobs in Austin - any advice?

A regional carrier near Austin is hiring drivers for local runs with home time every night. I worked as a security officer before this. They list a sign-on bonus and weekly pay. How is the pay in practice?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
